At NESTA, the strength of a team comes not only from individual professional expertise but also from seamless connection across departments. That is why having a clear understanding of products, processes, and even the “technical language” has become an essential capability that needs to be cultivated equally among all personnel — from production and design to sales, marketing, and operations.

Following the success and positive impact of the Interior Materials Course, the spirit of learning at NESTA continues to be ignited through the Technical Drawing Reading Course — an activity within our regular internal training program series. This foundational course is designed not only for the interior design team but for anyone who wants to gain deeper insight into the “language” that architects, engineers, and construction workers use every day.

Reading technical drawings is no longer an “exclusive skill” of the Design Team
Under the guidance of Mr. An — Head of Design at NESTA, who has extensive hands-on experience with major domestic and international projects — participants are introduced to the most fundamental concepts:

- Identifying drawing codes and logically reading through a complete technical documentation system.
- Distinguishing between different types of views, sections of interior products, and specialized symbols used in technical drawings.
- Practicing directly on AutoCAD software interfaces to simulate interior products in three-dimensional space.

The course has attracted enthusiastic participation from staff across multiple departments: sales, marketing, production, design, operations, and more. Remarkably, no one felt “overwhelmed” by the technical terms, thanks to Mr. An’s clear, practical, and highly visual explanations.
Far from being a dry technical session, the class is also an experience in connection. Team members from departments seemingly unrelated to technical work became genuinely excited as they got to “decode” concepts they once thought were “just the design team’s business.”

Enhance interior knowledge to understand and coordinate effectively
The Technical Drawing Reading Course not only provides new knowledge but also sparks a spirit of proactive learning — one of NESTA’s core values. NESTA believes that to reach the highest standards of professionalism in every product, seamless collaboration among departments is indispensable. And that is only possible when everyone shares the same mindset — a mindset of continuous learning, creativity, and connection.
